Ayam Betutu Khas Gilimanuk

Great atmosphere, really feels like you are in a common Indonesian eatery. Super quick service and only 5k rp for a lightly sugared ice tea. The gravy served with the boiled chicken is ace although the meat could be more tender. Also got a little bit of Bali Belly after this feed, my gf was ok though. Plenty of parking for all vehicles and great supermarket next door.

Very spicy, not hygienic, bad service, hot, no aircon, cheap, had diarrhoea for few days after a meal here.

so far I am a Bandung person who is treated to a variety of food flavors every day, but when I tried this betutu chicken for the first time, how did it taste, I want to call it spicy, it's not spicy either, it's not savory either, it's a bit bitter, the only thing that tastes good is the onion chili sauce, the rest, honestly, I don't like the bland taste, maybe some people say that betutu chicken is delicious, but for me personally, honestly (sorry the shop owner ) it's just okay, especially after eating betutu chicken for about 1 hour later, my body feels like it's hot and cold, I thought why, apparently my Balinese friend said that, then later he said he would have a stomach ache, really, it's straight away war wer war wer in the toilet, honestly, I'm not badmouthing this restaurant, but this is the taste aka the reality of eating the effects of eating betutu chicken.
