BTM Penida

We initially had a good feeling. The service was friendly, and the numerous reviews led us to believe it was a "safe" place to eat. Unfortunately, we both got food poisoning afterward!<br><br>After eating, you're asked to leave reviews on Google and other sites--hence the many reviews!<br>Stay away from this place!

This restaurant is a joke. We were surprised to see so many positive reviews (1800!). The service was catastrophic despite their friendly smiles. They didn't clear the plates from the first course to dessert. They practically slept behind the counter. My girlfriend was sick after eating there last night and still was this morning.<br>The ice cream scoops were so poorly presented and only half-baked.<br>The soup they offered was the simplest we've tasted in any restaurant on Bali and Nusa Penida. We expected better, especially considering the higher prices compared to the nearby warungs. There are so many better restaurants along the way that are cheaper and far superior here.
