We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. I ordered Pho and as soon as I finished eating it, I had to run to the toilet and had a very bad diarrhea. And I kept on running the whole night and got no sleep at all.<br>We also waited forever to be seen and order out drinks and food. One soon was almost cold and the beer was too warm. The rice fields are nice but I don't think the wood was worth the amount we spent there. I've just heard from a friend that many people suffer from diarrhea after eating at this place. I'd avoid it just to be safe.

We've eaten at Hoian Canggu many times, but yesterday, after eating pho and salad, we (husband and wife) got food poisoning. We vomited, had to go to the toilet multiple times, and felt weak all night and haven't stopped yet.

I came here twice, first time tried the banh mi and rolls. It was good and I like the place.<br><br>Second time, tried the pho, platter of rolls, beef salad and banh xeo. Delicious at the moment, but don't know which meal is it, we got food poisoning all night (vomiting and diarrhea).<br><br>It's been 10 days since I'm in Bali and never had anything. So a little bit disappointed.<br><br>Also, summer rolls taste like they have been rolled 4hours ago. It's all stiff. This is not freshly rolled or at least not being well conserved.<br><br>By seeing all comments, it seems that food poisoning is recurrent but I hope they will make something to enhance hygiene and how vegetables are being cleaned because one bad experience can ruined everything. (Service is a bit long to take order, and to come back when meals finished).<br><br>Staff are not really friendly, slow and not proactive, but from what I read in comments, I am not the only one to think this, but I guess it doesn't change anything to mention it as some comments are from a year ago and yet it's still the same.<br><br>I'll still give them another chance next time, but hope they will change something! Please change something because seeing comments there is clearly an hygienic issue.
