Indiana Kenanga, lembongan

Sadly, I can't recommend this hotel. At first, I was very impressed with the pictures on Google but the reality is quite different. First, the daybeds and swimming pool really need a good scrub. I barely saw anyone swimming in it to be honest, and I didn't feel tempted as well. Second, there are way too many insects in the room. Third : I had the handmade ricotta and spinach raviolis, which seemed like a safe choice but gave me FOOD POISONING. They charge you 35k for 2 pieces of bread which is ridiculous considering that other hotels give it for free. Lastly, as several other comments mentionned, the staff just isn't very proactive. They just stand there all day without actively reaching out to see if you need anything. I had to wave at them for a few minutes before they start noticing me. The day before leaving I had one last coconut that was served on a very dirty small plate. The poor dog doesn't seems very healthy, as the table next to mine pointed, and I unfortunately have to agree with them. It is a real shame because this hotel has so much potential, but all of the above has ruined my experience and led me to the conclusion that this is definitely not up to a 4-stars standards. Avoid at all costs.

I only had a chance to attend the New Year's dinner party, and, sadly, I have to admit it was a big mistake -- I ended up with a sick stomach (Bali belly) and was throwing up all night. What a perfect way to enter the new year... The waitress was very nice, and the location was stunning, starters were good but nothing special, but there was some kind of music battle between the two restaurants, super loud, and it was a nightmare to enjoy. At the end Police came and we knew nothing good will turns out from this. I don't recommend, just a lost of money and health.

Worst dinner (New Year's Eve) during our stay in Lembongan. Dramatic atmosphere - loud music, very loud, the loudest, loudness fight with neighbors, police in the background. But that's a damn thing - food.... the starters were ok, but the main courses were terrible (ravioli with mushrooms was inedible), my daughter vomited and had stomach problems after returning home. it's a waste of words.
