Sun Sun Warung

The tables weren't cleaned, and the hygiene was poor. I got an upset stomach immediately after eating. I never got an upset stomach in Bali, but only here. The prices are cheap.

Just went to this place recently, it is super filthy and unhygienic. Some of us had severe food poisoning after that. We never really had that in other places in Bali. Standard of hygiene is questionable, some observations:

1. Kitchen floor is greasy.

2. Food debris was found on the seating mat and cushion.

3. It was raining hard, yet the staff did not properly shelter the food when serving. There were rainwater dripping onto the food.

4. Staff washed their hands with rainwater dripping off the roof.

5. No proper drainage so it was ponding here and there during heavy downpour, next to where the guests were seated.

6. No proper waiting corner except a narrow alley with flooded rainwater.

Word of advice: think twice before visiting. The restaurant simply doesn't have the capacity to handle high volume of customers. Cleanliness and food hygiene are compromised as a result.

Our group got food poisoning. Don't go. It's our 4th day in Bali and we have been fine until dinner at this place.
