Warung Ole

I ordered Nasi Campur and got it quickly. The taste was just average. The chicken sate were gristly and not good in taste. The worst is, that quickly after eating there I got diarrhea and had to vomit alot. I am not even able to keep water in my stomach. Til now, the next day, I am suffering from both.<br>Do yourself a favor and don't go to eat there.

I was excited to eat here after reading the many rave reviews. But I was very disappointed on all levels:<br><br>- Quantity: While the prices are indeed low, the portions are tiny. If you're a normal eater, you need to order at least two dishes (three small shrimp in one dish).<br><br>- Quality: As for the taste, I ate the worst nasi goreng of all the ones I ordered during my stay in Bali (more than ten), and it was incredibly greasy. The watermelon juice clearly had added sugar, which I don't think is necessary.<br><br>- Hygiene: Without wanting to directly blame the warung, my partner had to leave early during her meal because she needed to throw up.<br><br>- Atmosphere: It's located on the roadside, with the only background noise being the sounds of motorcycle engines. It's not really their fault for that, but given that everything else is subpar, it matters.<br><br>- Service: You're greeted with a smile and the usual pleasantries when you enter, but they only see you as a walking wallet. When I tried to apologize for the waste because my partner couldn't eat the second dish we ordered because she had to leave for an "emergency" (I'm being kind; I'm not mentioning that she went to throw up in front of all the other customers), the manager thought I didn't want to pay for her meal and curtly replied that "it wasn't her problem." That's her true colors: no sympathy for you, just for your money.
