YUME Meng l Japanese Dining

We ate oyakodon and katsudon, both sour. Seems like the dashi/tare has gone bad although it doesn't have funky smell. The chef at the sushi bar convinced us that it's normally that way. We both had stomachache and nausea after.

The food is nice. The service is okay. the playlist is the worst. it's a restaurant but it feels like Timezone. especially with the hustle and bustle of the city and the noise from the ambience itself. the piercing sounds and high pitched anime songs are seriously the worst choice for a laid-back diner like this. we need a more peaceful atmosphere and not something so annoying that makes us want to run/dance and then vomit.<br><br>also can we have a printed menu? digital menu is a terrible, terrible idea. it consists of 73 pages for food only. bring back what a menu book should be.

Yume's food is delicious, the room is also comfortable and the location is strategic. One of my family's favorite restaurants, I come here at least twice a month. But very disappointed for the rest room, the TOILET smells the smell makes me nauseous it's been like that for a long time, it hasn't changed, I really hope they give me an air diffuser hopefully it will be a point of correction, later if I come again and the toilet is clean + I'll change my review
