Perantenan Restaurant at The Alena Resort A Pramana Experience

Avoid at all costs. We waited an hour for a lukewarm coconut in 35-degree heat and still no main course. Thirty minutes later, the waiter returned with another lukewarm coconut (and a lemon toothpick for decoration). We weren't served like everyone else. The service was appalling; the waitress forgot to give us napkins. We had to wait 20 minutes for her to come back. The treatment is clearly inconsistent. We came in the evening, and it felt like we were given leftovers (the bread wasn't crispy at all) or expired food. The food is of very poor quality; I had a stomach ache and vomited up my meal the next morning at 5 a.m. (fried duck). This is unacceptable coming from a 5-star hotel. I've never vomited up a meal since I've been in Bali. I had a terrible stomach ache the next day, and my husband had stomach pain for five days. We had to call a doctor to come to our home for an IV drip and treatment (stomach pain and vomiting). Because of this restaurant, we had the worst vacation of our lives. Don't trust the good reviews; strangely enough, in a year there's only one bad review for this restaurant. I posted my review a month ago, and I see it's not showing up publicly, so I'm reposting it today.
