Sundays Beach Club

I attended here with my friends after travelling over an hour to celebrate our departure from Bali. At first glance the location and venue was beautiful. We were greeted by a very sweet and lovely lady who made the process to get down to the beach club very easy and smooth. It's a shame because you would expect a lot from a 5 star beach club that's expected to have good food. The marinara tasted like leftovers, as if it was left in the fridge for a few days and then quickly heated. I wouldn't be surprised if this was true because the prawns and calamari rings were rubbery and tough. 1/4 of the dish was drenched in olive oil, and I even felt a bit sick after eating it. All of our meals were inconsistent, some of it was good and some of it wasn't. Another issue was the lack of attention the tables were given, we got given 2 forks and 1 knife between 3 people and one napkin. As someone thats worked in hospitality before I understand that sometimes you just have to work with what you have. If anything, I think it reflects the management of the venue, maybe they need to look past their rating as a 5 star beach club and actually pay attention to their services.

We went in the morning and left around 2 PM, and didn't eat or drink anything anywhere else after that. Thanks to that place, I got a Bali belly; I wish I hadn't gone, my vacation was ruined.

We ate at Sundays Beach Club the day before yesterday. My parents and brother ordered raw salmon and tuna, and they really enjoyed it. During the night, my brother had terrible stomach pain, and we decided to go to the hospital where he was on an IV. My mother was nauseous and had stomach pain, and the same went for my father. I didn't finish it, so it's probably because the salmon and tuna weren't good. It was very disappointing, because my mother is also in the hospital today, and they told us that the bad tuna and salmon caused a bacterial infection. We are very disappointed.
