Watercress Ubud

Friend got severe food poisoning here from the lemon chicken sandwich, would not recommend.

Restaurants are very hit and miss in Ubud. This is a serious miss. The ambience is nice like so many restaurants, but the food was extremely subpar actually inedible, but I was very hungry at the time. I got a large salad with a lot of ingredients that was completely without any seasoning or taste. The dressing that I received was pure oil. It didn't taste like olive oil. Maybe it was cooking oil, but it just made the whole thing very greasy. I asked for some vinaigrette to go with that and she actually brought me some white vinegar. Very funny then the truffle soup was loaded with pepper for no apparent reason I will stick with the two or three good restaurants they found in town. And by the way, I paid 210,000 for this and immediately went somewhere for a coffee to get rid of the bad taste and the stomach ache

The place is nice. It's a shame I got traveler's diarrhea on the way out after eating that burger and steak that were a bit much...
